(MISSISSAUGA) - Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) is proud to announce that 2,390 units were sold in February, the highest sales for that month in the company's history. Subaru's record-breaking momentum continues to build, supported by a 26.5 percent increase in monthly sales over last February and a year-to-date increase of 27.2 percent over 2013.

Ontario led the way for the regions, growing sales by an incredible 35.1 percent compared to the same month last year. With an increase of 33.8 percent, the Western region was not far behind. The Atlantic region marked 20.6 percent higher sales, while Quebec closed out the month with a 15.6 percent improvement.

Forester achieved its best February ever with 787 units sold. For the vehicle that puts the "Sport" back into SUV, this equals an impressive 122.9 percent increase over the same month last year. Excellent sales continued across Subaru's lineup, with XV Crosstrek and Impreza reporting monthly increases of 20.5 and 7.6 percent respectively.
