Based on Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCan) approved guidelines. Refer to NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide available at https://fcr-ccc.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca/en for more information. Full battery charge and ideal conditions are required. Figures will vary based, amongst others and non-exclusively, on driving and charging habits, speed, accessory use, weather and temperature, battery age, vehicle condition, road condition and other factors. In sub ideal conditions, figures may worsen by more than 50%. Battery capacity decreases with time and use which will further reduce range. See the owner’s manual or NRCan’s Fuel Consumption Guide for details.

For many years, Subaru has encouraged and supported rally competitors. As a result, there has been phenomenal growth in the number of Subaru vehicles competing in rallies across Canada. Subaru's involvement in rally competition began with only a few participants in the late 1990s but it has grown to nearly 50 Subaru teams contesting the National Championship each year.
In order to help support all Subaru competitors, Subaru introduced its contingency program in 1996. Since then, the contingency program has been open to all Subaru vehicles, regardless of home country, entered in any of the six events within the national portion of the CRC series. Just in the last year, over 60,000 dollars was given through the program as a way to provide help for all levels of drivers and co-drivers. Through the contingency program applicants can qualify for the Subaru Six Star Prize Program, which awards the top six Subaru finishers in every event of the CRC national series regardless of their overall finish in the rally. Or, applicants can qualify for the latest addition to the contingency program: The Subaru Super-Six Star Prize Program. It's designed to award an additional one thousand dollars to every Subaru entry that finishes in the top six overall at any CRC national event. Those that would consider themselves recreational competitors can qualify for the Subaru Start Line Fund, which provides a cash award to every Subaru entry that starts a CRC national rally, but places outside the top six Subaru entries. Of course the most coveted and prestigious award of all is the Subaru President's Trophy: This award recognizes the top Subaru overall in the CRC series. Finally, Subaru teams winning the Canadian Championship in Open or P4 classes receive additional cash prizes
Complete details of the contingency program are detailed on the CARS Web site (www.carsrally.ca). Or, click here to download the official application and guidelines.
